Bhajanamrutha
Bhajanamrutha is a monthly ‘bhajan’ programme that is conducted to preserve the tradition of Bhajans, bringing the Guru and students together at serene atmospheres of temples in Bangalore, generally in the vicinity of Kengeri Satellite Town. ‘Bhajan’ holds a special place in our culture, fostering a deep sense of togetherness and devotion. Under the guidance of the Guru, participants sing bhajans collectively, either by repeating after him or in groups, while students also perform solo pieces. It provides a platform for students to practice singing with accompaniment, gain stage confidence, and overcome fear. Bhajanaamrutha not only nurtures musical skills but also strengthens bonds within the musical community.

Guru Poornima
Guru Poornima is a day dedicated to honoring and expressing gratitude to our Gurus, who illuminate our lives with knowledge and wisdom. It is a celebration of the sacred Guru-shishya tradition, highlighting the importance of respect, love, and devotion towards our teachers. This year, Guru Poornima was celebrated with great reverence as our Guru invited his Guru, Smt. Vidushi Rajani Iyengar, to share cherished memories of their student-teacher journey. They recounted how the class was in earlier times and how our Guru evolved into a singer under her guidance. The celebration included performing Paada Pooje, a traditional gesture of respect where we washed our Guru’s feet, and sang heartfelt songs. Both teachers were deeply moved, and the event was filled with love, emotions bringing out the true essence of Guru Parampara.
