The Lineage
Sri Vinay Nadig is a versatile and accomplished artist training in both Carnatic and Hindustani classical music. His foundational training in Carnatic music was under the expert tutelage of Vidushi Rajini Iyengar and Vidwan Vasudeva Rao. He broadened his musical expertise by training in Hindustani classical music under the guidance of Pandit Venkatesh Godkhindi. He had the honour of performing alongside Late Dr. Sri Ashwath in the popular series of “Kannadave Sathya” programme and an innumerable collection of ‘bhavageete’ are treasured with him.
Television and Reality Shows
Sri Vinay Nadig’s exceptional talent was brought to the forefront when he won the prestigious reality show “Ede Tumbi Haduvenu” on ETV Kannada. This remarkable achievement gave him the honor of performing alongside the legendary singer, Sri S. P. Balasubramanyam. He has performed on various acclaimed TV programs, including “Endoo Mareyada Haadu” with the late Sri Ravi Belagere and “Balondu Bhavageethe” with late Sri R. N. Jayagopal. He gained widespread recognition through the title track of the popular serial “Gandhari” on COLORS Kannada Channel.
Noteworthy Concerts
Sri Vinay Nadig's career is adorned with memorable performances at prestigious venues and events. He has shared the stage with renowned singer, Mrs. K. S. Chitra, at the Bengaluru Ganesha Utsava. He has graced iconic stages such as the Hampi Utsava, the historic Mysore Palace, and the esteemed Banquet Hall of Vidhana Soudha. These performances stand as a testament to his artistry and dedication to music. He has toured extensively both within India and abroad, showcasing Sugama Sangeeta, Ghazals, Bhajans etc sharing the splendor and richness of music.
